This standard applies to suppliers who are prioritised as ‘Rail Plant Operating Company in Possessions' i.e. who may be (or are) working on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure managing and operating rail plant in engineering posessions.

NOTE 1 - ‘Management Systems' items listed under "Confirming arrangements meet specified requirements" are assessed:

initially, to confirm that the management system meets the requirements specified in this document and referenced documents;

where arrangements have changed materially since the last assessment, to establish that the management system continues to meet the specified requirements.

NOTE 2 - ‘Management Process' items listed under "Confirming implementation of the arrangements" are assessed:

periodically, to establish that the management system is being adequately implemented.

This document sets out the management system requirements for suppliers prioritised by Network Rail for a ‘Rail Plant Operating Company in Possessions' licence.
