This module applies to:

a) events occurring on Network Rail managed infrastructure (NRMI), including Network Rail managed stations;

b) events that do not occur on NRMI but which cause, or have the potential to cause, an increase in risk on NRMI;

c) events involving rail vehicles operated by Network Rail;

d) events occurring at offices and buildings that are not part of NRMI but are owned by or leased to Network Rail and are occupied by Network Rail staff;

e) events involving road vehicles owned, operated or leased by Network Rail.

Purpose

To provide a consistent, comprehensive and structured process for the reporting of fires to meet the requirements of GE/RT8047 and the Company Fire Safety Handbook NR/L1/FIR/100.
