Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide a process for the delivery of self - assurance activity in order to:
a) conform to NR/L2/ASR/036;
b) comply with the Railways and Other Guided Transport System (ROGS);
c) improve efficiency and decrease expenditure by not requiring a second party to provide assurance;
d) assess processes against the requirements of standards to drive continuous improvement and improvement plans, and empower staff to make those changes; and
e) recognise and action any gaps in safety and compliance.
