This procedure applies to all contractors and suppliers who operate any Locomotive hauled or Multiple Unit Train, Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), On Track Machine (OTM), Road-Rail Vehicle (RRV), or Rail Mounted Maintenance Machine (RMMM) operating in an engineering possession for the purpose of any maintenance, renewal or construction activity.

This procedure describes the high level principles for train operation within engineering possessions on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure.
