This module provides:
a) a list of Network Rail standards that apply to High Street Environment projects and confirms whether each standard applies to:
1) all High Street Environment projects
2) specific High Street Environment projects
b) a suite of template documents that can be used to support the following types of projects when directed by the process in NR/L3/OHS/005:
1) car parks:
i. near track, servicing station.
ii. near incomplete track and/or station, to service station when track and/or station are complete.
iii. near track, not servicing station.
iv. away from track, not servicing station.
2) office buildings:
i. near track.
ii. away from track.
3) electric Vehicle (EV) charging point installation in a car park.
4) solar panel installation on roof of an office building.
5) electricity meter installation in an office building.
6) refit of a retail unit installed under a viaduct arch
7) repair or replacement of a roof or canopy on a building away from the operational railway
8) refit of a retail unit in a station concourse or similar
9) the public realm (squares and plazas outside stations)
NOTE : The templates have been prepared in support of the CSM-RA process in accordance with NR/L2/RSE/100/02.
This module does not apply to any project that does not meet the definition of High Street Environment.
The High Street Project Catalogue User Guide explains the steps required to modify and complete the supporting documents. This is available in the Network Rail Information Management System via My Connect. Where external users wish to use the user guide, they should request a copy from their Network Rail point of contact.
Purpose
This module provides references to a catalogue of supporting documents that:
a) help Network Rail teams decide whether a project is a High Street Environment project;
b) confirm which Network Rail standards are to be applied to High Street Environment projects.
c) makes the application of the required Common Safety Risk Assessment easier
