The requirements of this procedure apply to any individual holding an ECO competence. It is also applicable to those involved in the training, assessment, development, management and verification and of these individuals.

This procedure should be read in conjunction with:

a) NR/L3/OPS/045/2.01 – Quality Assurance in Occupational Competence

b) NR/L3/OPS/045/2.14 – Additional Monitoring of Employees and Support Procedure

c) NR/L3/OPS/045/2.15 – Visits to Employees at Operational Locations

PURPOSE

This procedure sets out the arrangements to be followed to train, assess and develop the expertise for those working in electrical control, known as electrical control operators (ECO).
