This procedure applies to all managed stations where Network Rail has entered into a lease agreement with a third party for the purposes of retail including associated activities outside of the area leased but within the overall station except at:

• St Pancras (Midland Road) Station, where this is covered by the St Pancras International Station arrangements.

• Stations where the Train Operators lead with the development of the plans as the Service Provider to Network Rail Infrastructure Limited. Any alternative arrangements will be documented via Safety Validation or approved Statement of Arrangements.

PURPOSE

This procedure maintains the safety and security of the station by controlling risks which might arise from station retail activities and set out interface arrangements.
