Purpose

This instruction defines the telecommunications maintenance procedure for Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Thin Film Transistor (TFT)

displays used by Network Rail and/or the Station Facilities Owner (SFO).

Maintaining LCD, LED and TFT displays decreases service failures by identifying and rectifying defects before they become faults.
