This Model Agreement applies to all initial proposals for new underbridges received from outside parties after the implementation date. Where possible, any Works Agreements for new underbridges for outside parties being developed at the implementation date should also follow the principles of this Code of Practice.

PURPOSE

This Code of Practice sets out a Model Agreement containing minimum engineering contents, suggested commercial contents and approved layout of any Works Agreement completed to cover the design, construction and future maintenance of a new underbridge for an outside party.
