This instruction contains changes with respect to the scope and frequency of inspection of RCF sites affected by rolling contact fatigue and the use of grinding as a routine method for the control of RCF.
This instruction contains new guidance on the use of the Sperry, RSU, roller search unit and the minimum actions that need to be applied if a flaw is discovered following U15 testing.
