This Procedure applies to the imposition, variation and withdrawal of all Emergency Speed Restrictions on Railtrack' s Controlled Infrastructure.
Purpose
This Procedure ensures that all Train Operators who operate on Railtrack' s Controlled Infrastructure are correctly and promptly notified in a consistent format when an Emergency Speed Restriction, affecting the running of their trains, has been imposed, varied or withdrawn.
