Introduction
This Code of Practice sets out the standard for the location of Designated Earthing Points and for the design of Earth Attachment Points at these locations and should be considered in conjunction with the Working Instructions for A.C. Electrified Lines (BR 29987) and the Code of Practice for the Application and Removal of Portable Earthing Equipment for use on A.C. Overhead lines (ECP/136).
