PURPOSE

The guidance note provides additional information to help Railtrack and its Contractors in using the table Failure Ratings for Operational Telecommunications Failures published in Appendix B of RT/E/S/10047 (it is based on page 30 of issue 7 but will only be updated if later versions of RT/E/S/10047 cause the Operational Telecommunications Failure ratings to be amended).
