This Procedure is mandatory for all work with a signalling content undertaken on Railtrack Infrastructure, which requires testing to the Signal Works Testing Specification, RT/E/S/11221.
Purpose
This Procedure details the method of appointment of the Tester in Charge of a Signalling Scheme (or stage).
The Procedure contains requirements regarding the proposal, assessment and appointment of the Tester in Charge along with acceptance of the role by the individual concerned.
