Introduction
This Procedure covers the routine maintenance and replacement of major parts whilst maintenance is being carried out, for ceramic bead neutral sections.
A general view of the neutral section is included as an appendix to this document with components referred to within this document clearly labelled.
The neutral sections are to be examined and maintained annually as described below.
The maintenance will be carried out wherever possible from a maintenance train or a maintenance trolley.
Routine insulator cleaning will be carried out in accordance with Procedure EHQ/PR/O/005.
