Introduction
In certain circumstances it is necessary to undertake the bonding of temporary scaffolding in use in connection with the repair, erection or maintenance of structures over or in close proximity to A.C. electrified lines. Code of Practice ECP101 : 1985, "Earthing and Bonding for 50hz. Single Phase A.C. Electrification" and "Working Instructions for A.C. Electrified Lines" (BR 29987), give details of when such bonding is required.
