This specification applies to the viewing and copying of signalling records for maintenance or project purposes held by the Custodian of Signalling Records. It does not apply to the release of source documentation. (This is described in RT/E/S/10054 - Management of Handover of Signalling Source Records).
It also identifies timescales and processes for copying of records required for the tendering and letting of contracts.
PURPOSE
To establish the process by which Railtrack's signalling records shall be made available for viewing and provision of copies if required.
