Purpose
This document gives the method to be adopted for isolating and earthing 25kV SMOS equipment when it is required to inspect, maintain or remove any part of it. It applies to SMOS locations where the O.H.L. equipment is registered from the SMOS supporting structures or where adjacent OHL equipment requires to be isolated & earthed to allow work to be carried out.
