INTRODUCTION

The GCIR project will utilise existing E.P. points. These points are in use on the existing infrastructure and Network Rail wish to continue their use when the interlocking is renewed. Most of the air main has been renewed prior to installation of the GCIR project with the final phase planned for ‘08/09. The Objective of this document is to describe the operation of E.P. points from SSI TFMs within the Glasgow Central area.
