Exhibition and Convention Centers are used for a near infinite variety of functions which must be reflected in the flexibility of HVAR systems. The paper will discuss how to satisfy comfort whilst integrating methods to reduce energy demands. This will include a discussion on the use of flexible air distribution systems utilizing thermal symphonic principles.
The paper will further explore the relationship between refrigeration and electrical demand profiles, whilst considering the benefits of utilizing the energy generate within the exhibition. This will extend to fabric thermal storage methods as well as more traditional methods o thermal storage.
A number of installations will be referenced. The discussion will also touch on the integration renewable technologies.
