Existing building commissioning (EBCx) has been shown to be a cost effective approach to achieve energy savings. The U.S. DOE, through Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, funded a study to analyze projects implemented through utility programs across the country. The goal was to determine if a high priority set of measures exists that achieves the majority of savings in EBCx projects.
