DA-07-062 Development of a New Energy Management Programming Tool, TSC PDF

A new energy management programming tool, TSC, has been in development since 1991. TSC includes three essential elements: TSC/prog, a logic construction tool; TSC/com, a communication tool; and TSC/naming_code, the standard for data naming. TSC/com performs object-oriented communication using the Internet standard protocol HTTP. TSC/prog is divided into the custom file, which is a simple text file to describe control logic, and the logic engine, which decrypts and executes the custom files. This permits control logic to be programmed openly. The TSC/naming_code is a convention that unifies the names of all data—measurement and control, communications, applications, and machine codes—on design drawings. TSC/com and TSC/prog are ready-made software written in Java and C.
