This version of The Continua Design Guidelines (CDG) includes guidelines for the personal health devices interface (PHD-IF), the services interface known as the Services-IF and the healthcare information system interface (HIS-IF).
These guidelines for PHD-IF also include design guidelines on the use of a transport technology i.e., near-field communication (NFC), USB, Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE and ZigBee for a specific certified capability. An overview of the capability classes defined under each of these transport technologies
