First the good news: this has been one of the most stimulating conferences that I have attended. It has been exciting to hear about developments in our industry and exploring various nooks and crannies of our current knowledge. Now the bad news: this conference has been depressing—the gap between what we know and how we practice has never seemed quite so stark, at least to me.
