The American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act was enacted in 2020 to address three main areas: 1) phasedown of production and consumption of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), 2) maximizing reclamation and minimizing refrigerant release, and 3) facilitating the transition to new technologies. This legislation is promoting the transition to low global warming potential (GWP) solutions for use in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R) equipment. This seminar focuses on properties of low GWP refrigerants and lubricants critical for implementation into HVAC&R systems.
