ASHRAE is leading the efforts through the Task Force for Building Decarbonization (TFBD) to eliminate GHG emission from the built environment and address climate change. ASHRAE’s TFBD has made significant progress in strategic planning and implementation. This seminar provides a comprehensive update to help advance building decarbonization practices through new technical guides, standards, and workforce development. This seminar covers TFBD’s strategic planning and progress, whole life carbon and Standard 240P update, the working plan on ASHRAE Standard 90.1 to achieve the net zero carbon standard, and ASHRAE’s new guide on design and operation of building-to-grid integrated buildings.
