INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE

This document specifies the requirements for and operations of femto cells within cdma2000®1 networks from the perspective of the user(s) and/or the system operator.

The objective is to define and to standardize the functionality of femto cells that can be incorporated into the operations of cdma2000 based wireless telecommunications networks.
