This guide specification covers the requirements for removal, encapsulation, enclosure encasement, or repair of friable and non-friable asbestos-containing material (ACM) which is encountered during the demolition, alteration, renovation, or maintenance of structures, substrates, equipment or portions thereof that contain asbestos; transportation, disposal, storage, containment of; and housekeeping activities on the site at which these activities are performed.
