This slide presentation outlines how the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility has incorporated the AWWA "Only Tap Water Delivers" ad campaign into its own media campaign. Examples of print media are given, such as newsprint ads and a National Drinking Water Week Promotion, along with vehicles ads on
utility assets and
mass transit, and ads on Pharmacy bags. Future plans include: mass transit is
relatively expensive;
event sponsorship such as
local charity running events; and,
web site redesign including
Tap Water Delivers as home page graphic with
emphasis on four key messages. Lessons learned are listed.
