This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the WaterSense℠ Program, developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), with the program goal of
reducing water and wastewater infrastructure costs and
conserving water resources for future generations.
Program objectives include:
raising awareness about the importance of water efficiency;
ensuring product performance;
helping consumers differentiate among products and services;
promoting innovation in product development; and,
supporting state and local water efficiency efforts. Anticipated water-efficient
product and service categories are listed, along with WaterSense℠ New Homes
