This powerpoint presentation begins by providing the Georgia Association of Water Professionals' (GAWP's) Response to Workforce
Challenge that includes: create a brand - H2Opportunity; raise awareness about the water industry; develop a fundamental understanding of the water use
cycle and how careers in the industry apply; and, encourage and motivate students to consider a
career in the industry. The H2Opportunity website is presented, with tailored content towards high school students, the immediate target group of college and VOTECH students, guidance on career paths, careers in the water industry, job bank (local and national), GAWP's scholarship program, H2Opportunity Blog and
Wiki Space, lunchtime presentation series and happy hour, career fairs, and introduce a girl to engineering.
