This paper addresses Elizabethtown Water Company concerns, methodology, course of action and conclusions in eliminating an 8.5 million gallon per year leak in a reservoir that is vital to the distribution system. This project is currently under construction and when completed will not only eliminate the leakage, but will also extend the useful life of this 90-year-old structure. The plans and specifications were all done in-house and RFP's were sent out on July 26, 2001. Construction began on November 7th and the reservoir will be returned to service on February 15, 2002.
