Purpose of This Notice.
This notice provides information to aviation safety inspectors (ASI) pertaining to the issuance of a letter of authorization (LOA) for commercial air tour operations for compensation or hire conducted in accordance with the provisions of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 91, § 91.147, from the automated Operations Safety System (OPSS). This notice is applicable to part 119 certificate holders and part 91 operators who conduct commercial air tour operations under part 91, § 91.147.
