Material Description. This specification covers the performance requirements of exterior plastic moldings, claddings, and appliques that are attached to the body, or fascia using an adhesive. It also covers inserts that are bonded to the trim. This specification also covers tape attached seals, and weatherstrips.

• For nameplate and emblem adhesion to the body using pressure sensitive tape, refer to GM6271M.
