This specification covers the materials and testing requirements for a part number identification label, and an informational content Label. The part number ID Label is used to designate the various styles/colors/positions for cast ahuninum wheels during assembly plant handling. The labels are only meant to be temporary (adhesion required until dealer preparation), and should be easily removable in 1 piece from the clear coated aluminum surface, The info label is designed for permanent usage on wheels, both styled aluminum and painted steel.
