Powertrain mounts with hydraulic damping used for powertrain vibration isolation in motor vehicles.
Type A.
Temperature Range -30 °C to 100 °C continuous and 125 °C excursion; tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at 100 °C. See Appendix A, Table A3.
Type B.
Temperature Range -30 °C to 100 °C continuous and 125 °C excursion, tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at 125 °C. See Appendix A, Table A3.
Type C.
Drawing defined (e.g., using ASTM D2000 line callout or SAE J200). If no type of material is indicated, material of Type A is sufficient.
