Type A. Temperature Range -30 °C to +100 °C continuous and +125 °C excursion; tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at +100 °C. (See Appendix A, Table A3).
Type B. Temperature Range -30 °C to +100 °C continuous and +125 °C excursion, tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at +125 °C. (See Appendix A, Table A3).
Type C. Drawing defined (e.g., using SAE J200 or ASTM D2000 line callout). If no type of material is indicated, material of Type A is sufficient.
