Material Description. Elastomer in Powertrain mounts.

Typical Applications. Powertrain mounts with hydraulic damping used for powertrain vibration isolation in motor vehicles.

Type A. Temperature Range -30 to +100°C continuous and +125°C excursion; tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at +100°C. (See Appendix A, Table A3.)

Type B. Temperature Range -30 to +100°C continuous and +125°C excursion - but tensile strength and permanent set on complete part tested after aging at +125°C. (See Appendix A, Table A3).

Type C. Drawing defined (e.g., using SAE J200 or ASTM D2000 line callout).

If no type of material is indicated, material of Type A is sufficient.
