1. Scope
This standard covers the quality of elastic substances which are made primarily of natural rubber, synthetic rubber or elastmeric resin, with compounding ingredient added thereto (hereinafter referred to as rubber) and which are used for products and their component parts manufactured by this company. However, those rubbers which are used for rubber vibraton insulator ebonite, porous rubber, tires, and tubes, are excluded.
