This Defence Standard (DEF STAN) 02-332 in conjunction with the documents referred to herein specifies the general requirements for the design, provision, manufacture, installation and testing of the following Submarine Nuclear Steam Raising Plant (NSRP) Secondary Propulsion Systems:

a) Main Feed System;

b) Main Steam;

c) Auxiliary Steam;

d) Gland Steam Systems;

e) Steam Drain System.

This Standard shall be read in conjunction with SSP 25 Quality Assurance for Safety in Submarines in so far as it affects First Level systems. Additional information and guidance is found in BR 3000.
