This Standard defines the procedure for the preparation, presentation and format of engineering diagrams, drawings and their associated lists in such a way that they will provide all the necessary information for the procurement of Service materiel within the specified, physical and performance characteristics. It is to be applied in conjunction with the documents listed in clause 2.
This Standard does not cover the requirement for illustrations and diagrams for Handbooks. These are defined in JSP 183.
