This standard specifies the requirement for the packaging of mechanical components to Military Levels P, N and J. 

This standard covers only components with a minimum fragility factor of 100 gn and Primary Packaged Quantities (PPQ's) that are single, multiple, kits or sets, up to and including 5 kg mass.
