PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The purpose and scope of this document is to set out guidance for planning of work on or near high voltage overhead lines. It gives general guidelines on the considerations that must be made before work starts and gives best practice guidance on setting overhead line staff to work.
The integration of this procedure into the normal business process should ensure that there is a national approach to the planning of work on or near high voltage overhead lines and setting staff to work on or near HV Overhead lines.
