PURPOSE
This design handbook has been prepared to supplement the existing Policy Statement documents for Traction Supply Protection and Control Equipment, and to clarify areas where National Grid requirements' may be unclear.
It intends to offer guidance to Suppliers during the engineering of all new Network Rail Feeder Installations, including light current replacement and refurbishment work. It is not intended to direct Suppliers to a particular solution.
