This Spaecation defines the technical requirements for communication of telemetry data between telecontrol systems using a master/slave protocol. It does not define the processes required for large file transfers or for data transfer between telecontrol master systems.
Data transfers within the Controlling station or Controlled station or external to NGC are not part of the scope of this Document.
The structures defined in this Document are the set of options required by NGC to implement telecontrol using the IEC 870 series of Specifications.
