This Specification stated NGC requirements for the termination and testing of optical fibre cables used in the Access Network which comprises all connections between the customer's premises or BT Digital Main Switching Unit (DMSU) and the Equipment Accommodation Module (EAM) or switch building on the ENERGIS National Carrier Network (NCN) including connections via Points of Presence (POP) or other locations defined by ENERGIS. This Specification details the termination and test requirements for the following types of Access network optical fibre cable route:-

(i) Customer's premises to Point of Presence or Equipment Accommodation Module or switch building.

(ii) BT Digital Main Switching Unit to Point of Presence or Equipment Accommodation Module or switch building.

(iii) Point of Presence to Equipment Accommodation Module.

(iv) Point to point, off network links between customer's premises.
