This Notice Board applies to staff involved in faulting / maintaining or installing the K-Type Rail contact on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure and applies to rail contacts with a serial number less than EG01735xxxx.
Note: Units which have a serial number greater that EG01735xxxx are not affected by this failure mode.
Purpose
To inform staff of a failure mode that can occur on the K-Type Rail contact used with the AzLM axle counter system.
