Applies to the maintenance of EBI Track 200 track circuits, that have been assessed through the pre-requisites and approved to use the II RCM (RADAR) system) to monitor the condition of the track circuit.

Purpose

This Notice Board facilitates the implementation of Remote Maintenance of EBiTrack 200 Track Circuits using the II RCM (RADAR) system, prior to the next update to the relevant standards.

This will allow maintainers to benefit from this new method of remote maintenance by:

• A reduction in resource time to maintain the condition of the track circuit hence releasing resource for other tasks and priorities AND

• Elimination/reduction of time ‘ on track ’ exposure for maintaining the track circuit.
