This module applies to Maintenance and Delivery Organisations who are undertaking drainage channel or ditch maintenance or refurbishment (e.g. silt/vegetation clearance, re-profiling, etc.).

Purpose

This module helps to mitigate the risk of drainage system failure by informing the work instruction for the maintenance of drainage channels including ditches. It includes both manual and mechanical methods for both lined or unlined channels and ditches.

This module should be read in conjunction with NR/L2/CIV/005/11, Drainage Maintenance and supports the following Maintenance standard jobs:
