This specification does not apply to any shunting vehicle used for any other purposes anywhere within LMD's or on the Network Rail Infrastructure.

Purpose

This specification defines the technical requirements for rail borne shunting vehicles to be utilised for the haulage/positioning of rolling stock over underfloor wheel reprofiling facilities at Light Maintenance Depots (LMD's).
